If you’re running a business, chances are you’re pretty busy. The question is, are you really putting in the work it takes to generate the results you hope for? Here are two simple shifts to make to be sure you’re on the right track and then propel you forward.
Step 1
If you took a snapshot of your day and duplicated it, would you be successful? If you gave that snapshot to someone else and they duplicated it, would they be successful?
If the answer is no, then change what you’re doing. Are you talking to enough people? Are you reaching out? Are you really going above and beyond?
So, step one is to analyze what you’re doing today and make any necessary changes.
Step 2
Take a look at how you approach goals. What’s your determination level? Do you set a goal and if you hit it, great! - If not, try again tomorrow? Or do you say, "I am not going to sleep tonight until this goal gets accomplished.”
Here’s the trouble … most people come up with excuses like it’s too late, I don’t have enough time, and so on. Those are just excuses. If you do that, own it. Then decide whether you’re going to continue to allow your excuses to dictate your results - or are you going to commit to doing what it takes?
I invite you today to take these two important steps toward success. The shift in perspective can be fascinating.
