So often we think there has to be some sort of magical solution for us. When you're trying to create in your life, there is a principle to understand. I think Shel Silverstein sums it up best with this poem:
Sandra's seen a leprechaun,
Eddie touched a troll,
Laurie danced with witches once,
Charlie found some goblins’ gold.
Donald heard a mermaid sing,
Susy spied an elf,
But all the magic I have known
I’ve had to make myself.
Shel Silverstein, Where the Sidewalk Ends
Think about how magical your life can be. When you’re going out and creating an impact, as you're helping people step into their greatness, there is almost a magical feel to that.
However, too often in our lives we hope and wish and pray that something magical will just happen to take us out of our circumstances. True magic comes from knowing that magic is what you create yourself. As you go out and grow your business, form good relationships, or whatever it is you're working towards, remember this: You are given the ability to create the magic all around you. Don't ever give into victimhood. Don't ever allow others to say you can't do something. Don't ever stop dreaming. People say all the time that they're experiencing magic but the magic really happens within you - when you choose to experience joy throughout life, no matter your circumstances.
